ADP Integration

Subscribe To and Use the ADP Integration

1 Linga in ADP Marketplace

1.1 Log in to ADP and Launch Linga Connector

  1. Log in to Run powered by ADP.
  2. At the bottom-left, click the ellipsis […] then select ADP Marketplace.


  3. Once it’s launched, replace the URL in the browser (or open a new tab in the browser) and launch Linga Connector.

 

1.2 Purchase Linga Connector App

Purchase the Linga Connector app to enable the integration with ADP.

During checkout, Linga requires additional information:

  1. Click the Add or Plus buttons. The ADP Identifier pop-up appears. The ADP Identifier can be found under Manage Integrations in Linga Integration Hub (refer to Section 2 for retrieving the ADP Identifier).

  2. Save the ADP Identifier then click Next to complete the Connector App purchase.

 

Once the purchase is complete, the consent for data transfer needs to be provided. Select Manage Consent then provide the Data Transfer consent by selecting Manage > Allow.
                    


ADP in Linga Integration Hub

2.1 Subscription

  1. Log into Back Office. Select Home then Integration Hub.


  2. On the Integration Hub page, select Browse And Subscribe Integrations.


  3. On the Browse and Subscribe Integrations page: under Payroll for RUN Powered by ADP click Add.


  4. After selecting the Terms and Conditions box at the bottom-left, click Confirm at the upper-right.
              

  5. After adding the integration you’re redirected to the Current Integrations page. Find the RUN Powered by ADP row on the table, then select the corresponding Settings (gear) button.


  6. For ADP identifier. Select Copy.


2.2 Data Transfer

Before selecting the Connect with ADP button, ensure the Roles and Departments are consistent across Linga and ADP, or create same Role and Department in ADP before pushing the data.

  1. Whenever a new Department is created in ADP it must be synced via the Connect with ADP button in Linga.
  2. Before any Sync, please ensure the Departments and Earnings are identical.
  3. Department Creation In ADP

    1. After logging in to ADP:
      1. Select the Settings (gear) from the left side pane.
      2. Select Departments, and the Departments page appears.


      3. Select Add.


      4. Enter the Department number and Description. The Description in ADP and Roles in Linga must be identical.


  1. Earnings Creation In ADP

    1. Select the Settings (gear) from the left side pane.
    2. On the Settings page: under Payroll select Earnings and deductions.


    3. On the Earnings and Deductions Info page, it navigates to the page where we can add how the salary is going to be paid. Add earnings Regular, Tips, Overtime if missing.


 

2.3 Sync Users

Once connected to ADP, you can easily synchronize users and publish pay data to ADP.

Whenever you’re creating users, they must be created at both ends. Once any new user is added to ADP and Linga, click the Sync Users button so the data can be published.


Once synced, the ‘ADP User Data has been successfully synced’ confirmation banner appears at the upper-right.

  1. Note: First Name, Last Name and Email id must match in ADP and Linga. Otherwise, it won’t sync.
    1. If the data doesn’t sync, the error message ‘No user data synced, Please try again later’ appears.
    2. If the data partially syncs, the error message ‘ADP user data synced partially. Please try again later’ appears.

 

2.4 Pay Cycle

After synchronizing users, you can easily push a pay cycle to ADP.

  1. Select Get Pay Cycle.


  2. Then select the ADP Pay Cycle and Payroll Type.
              

  3. Select Export Pay Data. The latest data will be published to ADP.

 


SSO Login


After logging into
Run Powered by ADP:

  1. Select the Username dropdown at the top-right, then select My Apps. The Applications page appears.


  2. The Applications page contains apps already purchased, such as Linga in the ADP Marketplace.


  3. Select the Linga rOS connector, and you are taken to Linga Back Office (BO).
