Back Office: Products/Items - Gratuities


Navigation: Sign into the Back Office and select a Store. On the left-side, click Products/Items then click Gratuities.
          

The Gratuities page displays all Gratuities currently existing under the Store.



Create Or Update A Gratuity

  1. Click + New Gratuity to create a new Gratuity, or to update an existing Gratuity under the Actions column click the corresponding pencil button.


  2. On the New/Update Gratuity pane:

    1. Enter the Name (mandatory, with a maximum of 25 characters).


    2. Select whether to Apply To a Fixed or Varying Percentage.

      1. Fixed – Enter the Percentage.


      2. Varying – Enter the Minimum and Maximum Percentage.


    3. Select whether there will be an Auto Gratuity threshold. If YES, enter the Seat Count that will trigger the Gratuity.


    4. Select whether Taxes will be automatically applied to this Gratuity. If YES, select one or more Taxes (or Default or Select All) from the dropdown list.


    5. Select whether to Include this Gratuity for Inclusive tax.


  3. When ready to create or update the Gratuity, click Save. You are returned to the main Gratuities page where a confirmation banner appears at the upper-right. If a new Gratuity was created, it will be added as a row in the table.


Delete A Gratuity

  1. Identify the Gratuity to delete (deactivate). Then under the Actions column click the corresponding trash can button.


  2. On the Delete pop-up that appears, select Delete to confirm deleting (deactivating) the Gratuity.
    1. To keep the Gratuity as Active, select Cancel or X Close.

  3. You're returned to the main Gratuities page, where the confirmation banner appears at the upper-right and the Gratuity is removed as a row in the table.
