Back Office : Comparison Report
- Sign
into the Back Office and select a
Store.
- On the left-side Navigation Panel, click Reports then Comparison Report.
- When a Dashboard tab has a Time Period dropdown:

- Today – The report will run based on Today’s store business date.
- Yesterday – The report will run based on yesterday’s store business date.
- Last ‘N’ Days [Enter the number of Days, type the number or use ▲▼ to change the value by 1] – The report will run based on the entered days.
- This Week [Default] – Just the current week is displayed (if the report is run on Tuesday then from Sunday to Tuesday will be displayed).
- Last Week – The last week is displayed (from Sunday – Saturday or Monday – Sunday).
- Last 7 Days – Report will run based on from Today’s Date to last 7 Days.
- This Month – Just the current month will be displayed.
- Last Month – Just the previous month will be displayed.
- Last 30 Days – Report will run based on from Today’s Date to last 30 Days.
- Specific Date [Select the specific Date (Calendar View)] – Report will run based on the selected Date.
- Date Range [Select the From and To Dates (Calendar View)] – Report will run based on the From to To Dates. The From Date should be prior to the To Date.
- Search – When a Search bar is available on a page, the minimum number of characters is 3, and only letters and numbers are allowed.
Columns – When a Columns button is clicked, a dropdown is shown where you can Select (show) or Deselect (hide) the columns you wish to view. Click Select All (default) to show or hide all columns.
- Pagination – The Rows Per Page dropdown – between 5 and 20 (intervals of 5).
Sorting – If the table can be sorted by a column, it’s by Alphabetical (A-Z, Z-A) or Numerical (Ascending [Upward Arrow, Smallest-to-Largest]), (Descending [Downward Arrow, Largest-to-Smallest]) values.

- Export – Click Export to produce a file from the table. The Export pane appears:

- Format – Select one of XLSX (excel file), CSV or PDF.
- Delivery Options – Direct Download (directly to your computer) or Send by Email (file sent as Email Attachment).
- If Send By Email, enter the Email address (Mandatory) to send the file. If the address isn’t valid, you will receive an error message and won’t be able to Send.
- Click Cancel at the bottom to cancel the Export and return to the previous screen.
- Once Format and Delivery Options are set, click Export at the bottom to export the file as a Download or Email.
Comparison
Report
Displays a comparison between two or more (click Compare Time
to add more filters, up to a total of 4) selected Time Periods (Compare
Time 1, Compare Time 2, etc.).
Select each Time Period, then
click Apply.

Comparison Report Graph
When Apply is
clicked, a circular graph representing each selected Compare Time Period’s
Net Sales appears, with colorized sections representing the Service
Types (QSR, Table Service, To Go, Bar Tab,
etc.). Mouse over a specific graph section to view its net sales and the
percentage of the total Net Sales.
Click a corresponding color and section name
caption to replace the Net Sales and amount in the middle with the
section information. Click it again to reset to overall Net Sales.

- If there is no relevant data available, the
message No data available appears.

Summary Table
Appears below the graphs,
with a column representing each Compare Time Period and the following
rows:
- Check Count: The number of Checks
involved during the corresponding Time Period.
- Net Sales: The amount of Net Sales generated
during the corresponding Time Period.
- Tax: The amount in Taxes collected during
the corresponding Time Period.
- Net Void: The amount in Net Void entered during
the corresponding Time Period.
- Discounts: The amount in Discounts collected
during the corresponding Time Period.
- Refunds: The amount in Refunds collected during
the corresponding Time Period.
- Gratuity: The amount of Gratuity
collected during the corresponding Time Period.
- Cash: The amount of Cash collected during
the corresponding Time Period.
- Payments: The total amount in Payments collected
during the corresponding Time Period.
