Back Office: Products/Items - Tare Group

Navigation: Log into the Back Office for your Store, then select Products/Items > Tare Group

The Tare Group page displays a table with the following columns: Tare Group (Name), whether it is the Default and Actions (Edit or Delete).

Create a New Tare Group (or Update an Existing Tare Group):

1. On the Tare Group page: to create a new Tare Group click + New Tare Group  (or to update an existing Tare Group, under the Actions column click the corresponding Edit [Pencil] icon). The New/Update Tare Group pane appears.
        
   
   
2. Enter the Name. It is mandatory and cannot be more than 25 characters.
   
3. Select whether to Set this Tare Group as Default (YES or NO).
   
   
   
4. To define Weights for this Tare Group, click the + Add Weight button. A new row appears for entering the following information:
   
1. Enter the Sequence No. or use the upwards/downwards triangles to change the value. It must be a number.
   
2. Enter the Name of the Weight.
   
3. Select a Unit of Measure from the dropdown.
   
4. Enter the Weight. It must be a number value greater than 0 (up to 3 decimal places).
   
   
   
5. Multiple Weights can be added per Tare Group. To delete a Weight from a Tare Group, click the corresponding trash can icon to the right. On the Delete pop-up that appears, select Delete to confirm deleting the Weight from the Tare Group.
        
   
   
6. To Save (or Update) this Tare Group, click Save (or Update) at the bottom-right. You are returned to the main Tare Group screen, where a confirmation banner appears at the upper-right.
