Blind Audits

Implementation in Back Office:

Page Navigation: My Stores >> User Management >> Roles >> POS OPERATIONS

-  Two toggle options should be provided in the roles.

-  The toggle options “BLIND AUDIT” and “SHOW REPORT AFTER BLIND AUDIT”.

-  By default, the option "SHOW REPORT AFTER BLIND AUDIT" should be in read-only mode.

-   If the "BLIND AUDIT" option is enabled, then the "SHOW REPORT AFTER BLIND AUDIT" option should be enabled by default. User can disable the option "SHOW REPORT AFTER BLIND AUDIT" after that.

-  If both "CLOSE ALL CASH OUT" and "BLIND AUDIT" options are in enable mode, the report should not be visible even if the respective user selects and cashier out the other user.

Screen Layout:


Implementation in POS:

1)      If the option “BLIND AUDIT” is enabled,

-  During Close / Adjust the till, the cash expected field should be invisible to users.

-  The column "Till Balance" should not be shown to the user in Active till / Held till.

-  Users cannot see the column "Expected Cash" in the closed till screen.

-  The user should not be shown the "Audit" tab.

-  The pop-up “You don’t have access to adjust the till” should be shown when user tries to adjust the till.

-  User should get manager approval to adjust the till.

-  The users should not be shown the over/shortage pop-up.

-  The till balance should not be shown in the close day screen. Till balance should not shown in the close day reports.

 

2)      If the option “Show report after Blind Audit” is disabled,

-  User cannot see the “Till Management- Checkout Summary” report generated on closing and adjusting the till.

-  The “Sales summary” report generated during cashier out and close the day should not be shown to the user.

-  The sale summary report shown in the report section should not be shown to the users.

 

3)      If the option “Show report after Blind Audit” is enabled,

Only after cash out or cashier out user can access the below mentioned reports,

-  User can see the “Till Management- Checkout Summary” report.

-  User can also view the “Sales Summary” report.

-  User cannot able to adjust the till without Manager Approval.
