Build Version 2.0.1 - Release Notes

  • Back Office Performance improvement.
  • Reports Performance improvement.
  • Customers Should be store level BO.
  • Labor Dashboard is started working with this build.
  • Access denied message should popup for user who doesn't have POS access.
  • Set all menu item to be in Alphabetical Order
  • App will not print Discount or Gratuity in the customer Receipt, if it has 0 value.
  • Force Clock in with Changes.
  • Remove Log Edit button.
  • Changed the Headers to Clock Log.
  • BO option for if a menu item is Zero dollar amount no to print on customer Receipt
  • Go to the back office.
  • Setting =>  Printer Configuration
  • Select the tab Front End Receipt.
  • Enable "Exclude Zero Price Menu".
  • Bar Tab
  • We have introduced Bar tab features in our last release. Below are the new feature added in to the Bar tab.
    • Quick bar, User can make more orders without navigating out from Order screen similar to QS.
      • Go to Operation-->POS Settings
      • Enable the “Bar Order” Option  and Enable the “Quick Bar” option
    • Pre-auth(SP PAX) : Important feature
      • Backoffice => Store Settings => Enable Preauth
      • Enter the "Default Pre auth amount"
      • Enable the "Extended Pre Auth"(Optional)
    • There is no search option in bar tab screen to search a check
      • Added Search box in Bar tab screen.
      • User can search with Check Number and Customer name
    • Auto popup Customer name when creating the Bar tab. Based on config.
      • Go to Operation screen
      • Select the "Ask customer name for Bar Order" button
    • Bottom menu should be similar table layout.
    • Bar should ask only Name not phone order. Name of the setting
  • Email or Phone either one is mandatory for customer profile.
  • In our prevoiuse build, we have email as mandatory to store the Customer profile.
  • Edit Customer in customer profile.
  • User can swipe the customer name in the list to edit the customer.
  • Mail Chimp upload the existing customers.
  • Go to the back office in enterprise screen
  • Select the Mail chimp in the list
  • click the "Mail chimp connect" button in this screen
  • Connect the mail chimp with required user name and password
  • After Mail chimp is connected
  • select the list which is created in the mail chimp
  • Now click the "Import into Mail chimp" button
  • Duplicate Payment in Castle and Go. Time out need increased.
  • We have increased the time to 2 mins to avoid the timeout frequently
  • Kitchen receipt we need the Service type details.
  • Go to the back office.
  • Setting =>  Printer Configuration
  • Select the tab Front End or Kitchen Receipt or Email Receipt
  • Enable Service Type
  • It will print the service type (Delivery, To Go, For Here, QSR, Bar Tab and Table service).
  • Service type Printer setup.
  • Some of our resturant is asking for restrict the printer based on service type. Example Bar Service  Printer1 should get print only for Bar service.
  • Go to Back Office
  • Setting =>  Printer Configuration
  • Select Kitchen Printers Tab.
  • User have to Enable the Restrict Service Type switch
  • Now User can see the Field to select Restrict to Service.
  • User can select more than one service types.
  • Print will send only to selected service types
  • Offline Credit Card Transactions
  • Get your CC payment even without internet. (Not secured)
  • When processing the NMI CC payment, if  internet is not available app will ask for offline process confirmation.
  • If User select yes, encrypted CC details will store in the device.
  • In the opertaion, tip adjustment tab to see the offline process too.
  • Click process offline button to complete the CC process.
  • Then batch the process.
  • Note : While we process offline transaction if payment gateway may decline the process if card is not valid or insuffecient balance.
  • Printer Restriction for menu based on Service Type.
  • Some menu should not print in selected service types.
  • Go to Back Office
  • Setting =>  Prorduct Items => Categoryies Or Sub Categories Or Product / Items
  • Select Service type in Restrict Service field.
  • User can select more than one service type
  • Customer Profile Screen
  • Below new features add added in Linga.
  • User can view all the previous order of the selected user.
  • User can re-order from the exisiting orders.
  • User can view the exisitng order.
  • User can Tax exempt.
  • Online Order
  • Most awaiting feature for Pick Up and Delivery type Restaurant.
  • Store have to set the Web Order in the Linga BO.
  • User fill all required store details in store information screen
  • User click the submit button in the Web order tab in settings screen.
  • After geting the sucess message in the web order tab in settings screen. new tab will created in between settings and User Mangement Tab, named as WebOrder
  • When user click Weborder button, application navigate to admin.zenpepper url
  • User set the all web order related settings in the admin.zenepper url web page
  • Base on web order settings online ordering sale synch with Ipad
  • If user need to navigate back to admin.zenpepper url click the back to Linga button in the admin.zenpepper url
  • User type the Domin name and click Launch button, Now new online ordering web url is generated sucessfully
  • Now User enter the url in browser and check the all menu details pulls correctly
  • User have to enable iPad to receive the web order in the Operation.
  • Operations => Enable Order Type => Enable Phone Order => Enable Web Order.

  • Back Office settings in House account
    • Enter the exact url
    • Choose house account
    • Select any existing customer
    • Choose the field as per their needs
  • Order Screen
    • Choose the customer.
    • Click the customer plan button in the customer profile screen.
    • House account window will open.
    • Enter the limit amount and max limit amount it should be less then the max limit amount
    • Please choose limited period if its your need
    • We are not allowing to edit card number. (it will be enabled in the next build)

  • Sale report (in store & enterprise level)
    • Added category filter in subcategory
    • Added category, subcategory, serving level filter and have option to split menu by serving level
    • Performance improvement in fetching menu item in reports
    • Added lazy loading in rendering data (scroll on load in department, category sub category, menu item & sale summary report)
    • Transaction report performance improvement

    • Performance improvement
    • Added Node filter in Node Void Report
  • Employee report
    • Added new tab (employee) in reports section and moved attendance and payroll in it
    • Added new report called labor by employee
  • Added House Account Report (Activity Report)
