Place the iPad in Kiosk Mode

The purpose of placing the iPad into kiosk mode is to prevent employees from exiting the Linga app or turning the power off to the iPad.

These steps will disable both the home and power button. To exit Kiosk Mode you will triple click the home button and enter in the password you used to initially set up kiosk mode.

1. In the iPad settings navigate to General > Accessibility.

2. Scroll down to the bottom of the Accessibility menu and tap on Guided Access.

3. Toggle the Guided Access to the ON position, tap on Passcode settings and "Set Guided Access Password". This password will be required to exit the application. Then, toggle the Accessibility Shortcut to ON. Once you are in the application you would like to stay open. You then click the iPad home button THREE (3) times to bring up this menu.

4. Open the application you would like to keep open. Triple-Click the home button and the menu will appear. Set the hardware options to: Motion and Keyboards ON - Sleep/Wake Button and Volume Button OFF.
