POS: Check Options - Adding an Open Item

Open Item allows you to manually create and add an Item that is not programmed in the Menu, including entering its Price at the time of sale.

To add an Open Item:


Note: Only employees with the proper Role and Permission settings have access to create Open Items.
  1. On the Menu screen in POS: tap on the Options  icon at the bottom.

  2. On the Check Options screen, select Open Item.


  3. On the Open Item screen:

    1. Select the Coursing Name from the dropdown.
    2. Provide the Item Name and its Price.
    3. Select any suitable Tax that needs to be applied (if any).
    4. Select the Printer.
    5. When ready to complete creation of the new Open Item, tap on the Done button.

  4. The new Open Item will be added to the Order screen.
