Active Checks
- In the existing Close the day checklist, the ‘You have Active Checks’ prompt appears

- Upon selecting the Active Check option, the application lists the Active Check.

- The system will clearly indicate which of those checks have active payments (different color codes [full payments – blue], [partial payments – grey]).

- Unpaid checks can be voided or cashed.  A separate column named Status will appear within the Created By and Sales Amount columns. The Status column will display one of the Check Status options: Paid, Unpaid or Partially Paid.

- Paid – When the check has been completely paid.

- Partially Paid – Partial payments on the Check will appear as Paid status.

- Unpaid – When there are no payments on the Check.

- Cancel - The alert ‘Manually close the Partially paid checks from Active tab’ will appear.

- When last of the Checks are cleared, the window will close by itself.

- Click Cancel to revert to the Close Day screen.

- The Submit button won’t be available until the last of the Partial or completely Paid Check is closed.

- Click Close Paid Checks to clear fully paid checks from the screen with a single click.

- For the partial payment - the user has to manually close the check by navigating to the active tabs.

- Initially the Close Paid Checks button will be enabled, then followed by the Void/Cash for unpaid checks and then the pop up will appear for partially paid checks on the Active tab.

Flow For Clearing The Paid/ Unpaid/Partially Paid Checks
3 options will be initially shown: Close Paid Checks, Void and Cash. If they have open checks with a fully Paid amount then only Close Paid Checks options will be visible and the other two (Cash and Void) will be greyed out.
Close paid checks option will initially be enabled. Once the user clicks the Close paid option button and closes all the paid checks, then Cash and void options should be enabled. Now the user can either Cash or void the unpaid checks (Existing flow). Once the unpaid checks are cleared, the following pop up should be shown above the cancel option - Manually close the Partially paid checks from Active tab.
Prevent Void or Cash for Checks With Partial Payments
For Checks with Partial Active payments, a Void or Cash transaction can’t be performed. Those checks must be Manually Closed from the Active tab.

- Close Day Only After All Checks are Handled - The Close the Day process will only proceed once all Checks are either properly closed or voided (without active payments).

- Once the Partially Paid checks are available: that value will appear in the Close Day line item (when Unpaid and Paid checks are Closed).

- For Manual Close Day - The Submit button (at the bottom-right of the Close the day Checklist) will be enabled only when all checks are manually closed.
