POS: Menu Options - Add an Open Item (Manually Input Price)

Open Item gives you the ability to manually input the Price at the time of Sale. To add an Open Item:

Note: Only Employees with the proper Role and Permission settings have access to create an Open Item.

  1. On the Menu screen, select a Menu Item.

  2. On the Menu Options menu that appears to the right, select Open Item.


  3. On the Open Item window that appears:

    1. Select the Coursing Name from the dropdown (list of options configured in Back Office).
    2. Enter the Item Name and its Price.
    3. Select the applicable Tax(es).
    4. When ready, press Done at the bottom-right of the window.
      1. Click Cancel to return to the Menu screen without creating the Open Item.

  4. When you're finished creating an Open Item, it will appear on the Menu screen as a Menu Item on the Check.
