POS: Menu Options - Add an Open Modifier (Manually Input Modifier)
Open Modifier gives you the ability to manually add Modifier(s) at the time of sale.
To apply an Open Modifier:
- Select a Menu Item.
- On the Menu Options menu that appears to the right, select Open Modifier.
- On the Open Modifier window that appears:
- Enter the Name of the Modifier.
- Enter the Quantity of the Modifier and its Price.
- Select any applicable Tax(es) (the list of available Taxes will have been configured in Back Office).
- When ready to Add the Modifier, click Add. The newly-created Modifier will appear to the right, showing the Modifier name and Price.
- To remove a created Modifier, click the corresponding X to its right.
- To add an additional Modifier: repeat the above process, starting with entering the Name of the Modifier.
- When finished with adding Modifier(s), click Done at the bottom-right of the window.
- When all Modifier(s) have been added: their Name, Quantity and Price will appear as red-colorized text under the selected Menu Item. The Price of the Modifier(s) will contribute towards the Subtotal of the Check.
