POS: Phone / Web Orders - Reassign Driver
In the current POS system, users can already reassign Drivers for Orders in the New tab. Similarly, the same functionality is extended to the Out tab, allowing users to reassign a Driver for an ongoing Check that has already been dispatched or out for Delivery.
Once a To Go or Delivery Order is submitted, you will be taken to the New tab of the Check Status – Phone Order screen which displays the Active Check. When a Phone Delivery Check is selected, followed by a Driver (Jack) who is Online, the selected Driver will be assigned to the Check.
- If the Driver is offline, the message 'Driver is offline. Still do you want to continue?' pop-up appears.
  
 
 
- Select Yes, and the selected Driver will be assigned to the Check.
 
- If No is selected, the selected Driver will not be assigned to the Check.
 
 
- Select the Driver then select Departure at the bottom of the screen. The Check will be moved to the Out tab.
 
 
- Note: the below screenshot includes the Order Progress column, which is only available with the Driver app.
  
 
 
- When you select any one of the Phone Delivery checks in the Out tab, you can reassign to another driver (Stewart). The selected Driver will be assigned to the Check.
 
 
- Example: If the Driver is offline in the Out tab, the message 'Driver is offline. Still do you want to continue?' pop-up appears. If Yes is selected, the selected Driver will be assigned to the Check. If No is selected, the selected Driver will not be assigned to the Check.
 
 
Reports
Driver Report
Once the Sale is completed and moved to the Complete tab in POS, the Driver assigned to the particular Check will appear in the Driver Report.
Cashier Out Report
When the Cashier report for Driver toggle is enabled in Back Office Settings, the name of the Driver assigned to each particular Check will appear.
