Retail Back Office: Products/Items - Bulk Update



Navigation: Log into the Back Office for your Store, then select Products/Items > Bulk Update


  1. The Bulk Update page displays all the Categories/Subcategories and Retail Items created under Products/Items in table view.
    1. When no Retail Item has been created, the message 'No Item added' appears.
  1. Filter the viewable options by selecting a Category and/or Subcategory from the dropdowns and clicking Apply, or by typing in the Search bar and pressing the Enter key.
    1. Example: you can select Clothing from the Category dropdown or type clothing in the search bar.

  2. Use the Order By dropdown to sort the results by Date Created or Last Modified.


  3. The table of results is organized by the following columns:
    1. Category/Sub-Category: The Category/Sub-Category to which the Retail item/retail item is attached.
    2. Retail Item Name: The Retail item name
    3. Existing Price: Based on the Retail item the price will appear. In case of multiple, the price will appear accordingly.
    4. Change To and Change: If there is any change in the existing price of the item, and if user want to make any changes then click on the relevant change to column and enter the price and then click on Bulk Update option the price will be changed in Change To column and as well as in the Change column. By default, the Change To column will be zero value and user can edit and update it. When user click on any one of the checkbox and click on Bulk Change option, then the pop-up will appear as shown in the design where the below fields are mentioned.

  4. A checkbox will be provided for each item (along with a Select All checkbox which selects all results on the current page).

Update Item Prices Individually

  1. Identify the Item(s) for which you want to update the Price (you can select a Category and/or Subcategory as needed).

  2. In the corresponding Change To field, enter the new Price. The Change column will update the difference accordingly (a plus [+] sign and green for higher price, and minus [-] and red for lower).


  3. When ready, click Update Item Price at the upper-right. After a moment, the confirmation banner 'Bulk Update Updated Successfully' appears, with the Existing Price reflecting the Change.
         


Bulk Update Item Prices

  1. Identify the Item(s) for which you want to update the Price (you can select a Category and/or Subcategory as needed).
    1. Tip: If needed, you can select from the Rows per page dropdown to expand the number of viewable results on the page.


  2. Select all of the results by clicking the checkbox next to the Category or Subcategory column header. All viewable options will be selected.
          

  3. Click the Bulk Change button at the upper-right.


  4. On the Bulk Change pane that appears:

    1. For Operation Type, select whether to Decrease or Increase the price of all selected Items.


    2. For Change By, select whether to modify the price based on Amount or Percentage.
      1. Amount: Enter the amount to change the Existing Price by. If Decrease was selected then a minus (-) sign precedes it whereas if Increase was selected then a plus (+) sign precedes it.


      2. Percentage: Enter the percentage to change the Existing Price by. If Decrease was selected then a minus (-) sign precedes it whereas if Increase was selected then a plus (+) sign precedes it.


    3. When ready, click Change. You are returned to the main Bulk Update screen with the corresponding Change in value appearing for each selected Item.
