Implementation in the Back Office:

              Page Navigation: My Stores >> Settings >> Payment

              A new option “Valutec” should be displayed when the payment type SPPax is chosen.

 

              By default, this option will be in disable mode. The user can enable the option later.

 

              When the option Valutec is enabled, then the user should not be allowed to enable the option Enable EBT and the Factor 4. Users can enable “EBT” option later.

Impacts on the Report:

              When the payment is made using the Valutec card in the POS, the respective sale should be reflected in all the payment related reports like Daily Tender, Account Balance Report, Sale Recap and Enterprise - sale recap report, Cashier out, Weekly Summary.

              When the Valutec cards are issued, the details should be updated in the Non-Sale Revenue section of the Sale Recap report and Cashier Out report. Also, the card issued details should be updated in Enterprise - Weekly summary report.

 

Impacts on Gift Card Report:

              Page Navigation: My Stores >> Reports >> Gift Cards

              A new tab option "Valutec" need to be displayed next to the GiveX tab.

              When user clicks on to the tab "Valutec", the screen should display with the below filter fields.

                        a) Activity Type

                                b) Employee

                                c) Time Period

     3. Activity Type field should have the below filter options,

a) ALL - Default option

b) Redeemed

c) Issued

d) Refund [not confirmed]

e) Void [not confirmed]

              In the Employee field, user can select the user and run the report accordingly.

              For employee field, the default option should be "ALL".

              Time period should be defaulted with the existing filter options.

              When the user clicks on the Run button, the report will be generated based on the selection of the filters.

              The report will have the following columns: Card Number, Date, Employee, Sale Number, Node, Activity Type, Amount, Balance.

              Based on the card options enabled in the SPPax payment configuration, the tab should be shown in the Gift card report section.

 

      Implementation in POS:

Screen Navigation: Sign into the application >> Operations >> POS Settings

                                      Sign into application >> Order screen >> click option >> Check option >> Gift card

 

 

 

              An option Valutec should be displayed in the section Default Gift Card Type (only if it is enabled in the back office).

              A new tab Valutec should be displayed in the gift card screen. [Check Options >> Gift Card]

              On selecting the Valutec option, the screen displays the following details:

1.       Card Number

2.       Issue

·         When the user clicks on the Issue button, a pop-up for entering the amount should be displayed.

·         After providing the amount and clicks on the Continue option in the pop-up, the request will be sent to the SPPax device.

·         The user will either swipe the card or manually enter the Card Number in the SPPax device.

·         The masked card number and the last 4 digits should be displayed on the Gift Card screen.

·         On clicking the Done button, the card details should be updated in the Order screen.

3.       Balance Check

·         When the user clicks on the Balance Check button, the request should be sent to the SPPax device.

·         The user should either swipe the card or manually enter the Card Number in the SPPax device.

·         The masked card number and the last 4 digits should be displayed on the Gift Card screen.

·         The available Balance in the Card should be displayed on the Gift Card screen.

·         When the user clicks on the Done button, the Gift Card screen should be closed.

 


 

 

              After creating the sale, the SPPax payment name defined in the back office should be displayed on the payment screen.

              The user should manually enter the SPPax Card Number or swipe the SPPax Card in the SPPax device and complete the payment process.

              User can do void, refund, and adjust tip operations too.
