POS: Active Employee



Back Office


Navigation: Log into BO and select a Store, then select User Management > Forced Punch-In/Out

Create a New Break

  1. On the Forced Punch-In/Out page, click + Time Event. The New Time Event page appears.


  2. On the New Time Event page, click New Break. The New Break Event pane appears.

  3. Select the Break from the dropdown.


  4. Select the Dates (calendar view) and Times for the Clock-In and -Out for the Break. Only the past Dates will be allowed.

  5. Click Save. The new Break will be saved.
Note: If an Employee forgot to add a Break in POS, it can be added in Back Office.
Note: Remaining reports will work as-is.



POS

  1. When logged into the application, the Active Employees option will be available.

  2. The Active Employee (Manager) screen displays an employee's details in separate tabs.


  3. Select the Break Time for the Current Date and the Immediate Future Date.


Employee Schedule Details

Click on an Employee's corresponding plus sign + (expand) to display further details of their schedule.



Add Timecard

  1. Click Add Timecard to add the timecard for that Employee.
  2. Select the Role from the dropdown.
  3. Select the time Clock In Date/Time and Clock Out Date/Time. Only the Current Date and the Immediate Future Date will be enabled.



  4. Click Add Paid/Unpaid Break to add one of the Break options.
    1. Select the Break's Start Date and Time.
    2. Select the Break's End Date and Time.
      1. Note: Only the Current Date and the Immediate Future Date will be enabled.
    3. Select the Reason for the Break from the dropdown.
    4. The Duration of the Break will be auto-calculated based on the selected Start Time and End Time.

  5. Select Delete (trash can icon at the right-end of a row) to delete a Break.
