POS: Cash Tip Declare Screen

Back Office Requirement

Navigation: Login to BO and select a Store, then select User Management > Users

On a New / Update User pane:

  1. Under the Other Settings section, Enable the Cash Tip toggle by setting it to YES.

  2. When the Cash Tip toggle is Enabled, enter the Cash Tip Percentage in the field that appears under the toggle.


  3. Once Enabled and the settings are Saved: when the user clocks out in POS, the Cash Tip Declare screen (Total Amount) will appear - displaying the following values:
    1. Net Sales - Net Sales amount will be displayed.
    2. Expected Tip - The Amount and Percentage appears, based on the Cash Tip Percentage set in BO.
    3. Non Cash Tip - Any tip amount not from cash added by the Customer.
    4. Expected Cash Tip - Expected cash tip will be displayed.
    5. Declared Cash Tip - In this field, the user can enter different cash tips, which should be equal to or higher than the Expected Cash Tip amount.
      1. When the amount entered is less than the Expected Cash Tip and Submit is pressed, the below pop-up will be displayed. Upon clicking Done the pop-up will be closed.


    6. Cancel: The Total Amount pop-up will be closed.
    7. Submit: The information will be submitted and you will be redirected to the PIN Entering screen in POS.


When the Cash Tip toggle is disabled in the BO when Creating or Updating a user: when the user clocks out, the Cash Tip Declare screen will not appear in POS.
