POS: Table Layout - Transfer a Check



Select the Transfer option

Select one of the Transfer options using the tabs at the top of the pop-up:

  1. Transfer to Server
  2. Transfer to Table
  3. Transfer Item

Note: Only Employees with the proper Role and Permission settings have access to Transfer a Check. Otherwise, a prompt will appear where a Manager's PIN must be provided.


Transfer to Server

This option is used to transfer the Check from one Server to another. The Employees assigned to the Store will be listed in the Transfer From column and at Transfer To column, regardless of whether they're clocked-in. A Clocked-In (online) Employee is marked with a green circle , while a clocked-out (offline) Employee is marked with a red circle .
  1. Select an Employee in the Transfer From column. Their assigned Checks will be listed in the Checks section.
  2. Select at least one Check then select an Employee in the Transfer To column.
  3. Select Done. The selected Check will be transferred.
  4. When you Transfer a Check to the Server who is in offline mode: the 'Employee is offline' pop-up appears. Select Yes to confirm transferring the Check or No to cancel.



Transfer to Table



This option is used to transfer the Check from one Table to another Table of same / different Floor. The Tables available in the Store will be listed in the Transfer From column and in the Transfer To columnTable names are displayed as [Floor Name - Table Name].
  1. Select a Table. The assigned Check(s) will be listed in the Checks section.
  2. Select at least one Check then select a Table from the Transfer To column and select Done.

  3. The selected Check will be transferred to the new Table.
  4. Once the Check is transferred: the earlier Check details will appear in the new Floor/Table that was transferred to.

Transfer Item


This option is used to transfer one or more Item(s) from one Check to another. All active Checks will appear in the Transfer From and Transfer To columns. Order names are displayed as [Order Number - Order Type/Table Name].

  1. In the Transfer From column select an Order. Once selected the Item(s) on the Order will appear in the Menu Item section.

  2. Select at least one Item from the Menu Item section

  3. In the Transfer To column select the Order that the Item will be transferred to and select Done.
