Retail Back Office: Linga Admin - Currency Settings


Navigation: Log into BO Admin, then select Settings > Currencies

The Currencies Settings page displays a list of the currency options established under the Enterprise in a table containing the following columns:

  1. Country Name:  The name of the country where the currency is being used.
  2. Currency Name: The name of currency that is being used in the country.
  3. Currency Symbol: The symbol representing the Currency Name.
  4. Actions: Contains the Edit (pencil) and Delete (trash can) options.

Create or Update a Currency
  1. Click + New Currency to create a new Currency or identify the Currency to update then under Actions click the corresponding pencil icon to update it. The New/Update Currency pane appears.

  2. Country Name: The name of the country. There is no character restriction.
  3. Currency Name: The name of the country's currency. There is no character restriction.
  4. Currency Symbol: The currency symbol of the country. There is no character restriction.
  5. When ready, click Save or Update at the bottom-right.
    1. The button won't be enabled until all mandatory fields have been filled-in.
  6. You are returned to the main Currencies page where the confirmation appears at the upper-right. If a new Currency was created, it will appear as a new row in the table.




Delete a Currency
  1. Identify the Currency to delete, then under Actions click the Delete (trash can) icon.


  2. On the Delete pop-up that appears: select Delete to confirm deleting the Currency.
    1. Select X Close / Cancel to keep the Currency.

  3. You are returned to the main Currencies page, where the Currency has been removed from the Active status table and moved to Inactive status.
