Zebra ZD420 Set up Instructions

Press the power button on the yellow light will illuminate, wait until you see the yellow

 light turn to green and the network symbol to illuminate.

After you are on the network below are the steps for automatic alignment of the media.

Open the printer

Set the media sensor to the center position

Press the media down under the media guides

Next close the Printer door

 

Press and hold the Pause and Cancel button for two seconds

The printer will now feed and measure several labels

When complete remove the excess media and press the center feed button to test alignment.

With media Loaded and Printer on Press Pause for Two Seconds to Enter Advanced mode.

After all indicators will flash yellow then go to a solid yellow status indicator.

Press feed once:

Then the pause indicator will illuminate showing you are in manual width adjustment

Next Press Pause once and the printer will start printing boxes

The printer will continue to print larger box when you see the printer print a box that matches the width of your media Press the Feed button Once to set the print width.
