Back Office: Enterprise Settings - Central Inventory
- Sign into the Back Office.
- On
the left-side Navigation Panel, click Enterprise. Then click Settings.

- On the Settings
page, under Central Inventory, select Inventory Costing. The Inventory
Costing page appears.

- The Inventory Costing
page has options to select stores for Costing Methods (Moving Weighted
Average and Latest Price), with tabs containing information for both.

- Select the store(s) from
the Moving Weighted Average dropdown by clicking the corresponding box(es)
(checkmark appears).

For Latest Unit Price,
all Stores / Central Warehouse / Central Kitchen will be
selected by default. The below selection will work for inventory.

If all stores
aren’t either under Moving Weighted Average or Latest Price, then
the error message ‘Make sure all the stores are selected under this
enterprise’ will appear.

The default Latest Price
calculation for each Stores / Central Warehouse / Central
Kitchen can be changed only once based upon the dropdown selection
(where all the Stores / Central Warehouse / Central Kitchen
will be available in the dropdown).
Upon
selecting any specific Stores
/ Central Warehouse / Central Kitchen for Weighted Average then that same Store cannot be chosen
for Latest Price (that selected Stores / Central
Warehouse / Central Kitchen will be
greyed out) and vice-versa.

If the setting is being
changed from Latest Unit Price to Weighted Average (or vice versa)
then a Reminder pop-up will appear with the message ‘Previous data will not be changed when user changes
from Latest Unit Price to Weighted Average or vice versa. The new changes will
be applicable from the time the setting has been changed’, along with YES and NO buttons with the option to Close the pop-up.

Note:
The following messages appear at the bottom, below the Latest Price
dropdown
* No changes occur when
particular store is removed from Weighted Average/Latest Unit Price and added
to the same Weighted Average/Latest Unit Price list.
*
Once the changes are made you will not be able to edit the Inventory Price
Setting. For further changes Please contact Linga Support.
If any Store / Central
Warehouse / Central Kitchen was missed, then they will be assigned
to Latest Unit Price by default.
When ready, click Save.
The confirmation pop-up appears at the upper-right.
