EPSON TM – L 90 Label Printer
In Settings>Store>Printers> Label Printers>
Press + Label Printers
Next choose whether it is a Menu item label only or an Address label
(If you choose Menu you will use Kitchen Label Template to configure how the label will look.)
(If you choose Address you will use the Label Template
to configure how the address label will look.)
Next give the printer a Name, choose the printer type which there is only one and give it an IP address.
The rest of the printer setup line are the same as all other
printers.
Next Configure which ever label type to go with either the Menu item or Address Label you chose for this printer
Below is Menu Item Label (This Part is more trial and error depending on what label size you are using,)
Below is my example:
Below is the Label Template used for the Address Label. (This Part is more trial and error depending on what label size you are using,)
Below is My Example.Next is where you setup either an entire category or subcategory or just specific menu items to go to a label printer.
In a Category or a Sub-category it is the field directly
under the Kitchen Printers section where you would insert the label printer
name you used when you created it.
By doing this it will update any category, subcategory or any menu items associate with the category you put it on just like when you do a kitchen printer or KDS
If you just want to have a specific menu item go to a label
printer then you just go to that menu item and under its label printer section
choose the printer you created and just that item with go to the label printer.
Below is a few things you need to check to make sure a label printer is setup correct.
The label printer needs to sit in this position
show in the picture in order for it to be online. There are 4 rubber strips on
the bottom side of the printer. If you do not have the printer sitting like
this it will not work.
I also recommend you do a Self-test on the printer to make sure you got the correct Ip setup in the back office.
When the Self-test is done you
need to press the feed button a second time for it to print the alpha bit test
and it should say complete there should only be green light lit up on the
printer like it is the picture above.
Following all the Step above you get a label printer working for you.
** This Epson printer is setup using Epson net as when it come from the factory it has the default Ip 192.168.192.168 . So if you use Epson net you can configure the printer to what ever network you need it on.**
