POS: Check Status Screen - Scanning the Barcodes of Checks



Back Office

Front End Receipt

Navigation: Login BO then select Setting > Printer Templates > Front End Receipt
  1. On the Front End Receipt settings page: select the Additional Settings section.
  2. Select the corresponding box next to Barcode, and the barcode will appear on the Preview to the right.
  3. Click Update at the upper-right to apply the update.

Email Receipt Template

Navigation: Login BO then select Setting > Printer Templates > Email Receipt Template
  1. On the Email Receipt Template settings page: select the Additional Details section.
  2. Select the corresponding box next to Barcode, and the barcode will appear on the Preview to the right.
  3. Click Update at the upper-right to apply the update.

 
 

POS

Connect Bluetooth Scanner

  1. Enable Bluetooth.
  2. Select Bluetooth Settings and connect the Scanner device.
  3. The Scanner will be connected successfully.

Hardware Settings

Connect the Bar Code Scanner to the POS

  1. The Bar Code Scanner must be paired with the POS via Bluetooth.
  2. The Socket S700 Bluetooth scanner must be connected.
  3. Log in to POS, then place a Sale and complete the payment.
  4. Once the payment is completed, the page will navigate to the Receipt screen, where the Print Receipt option will be available.
  5. Upon clicking on Print Receipt, the Check will be printed with a Barcode even if the Barcode toggle is disabled in BO.
  6. When the Barcode is scanned, the Check details will appear in POS as shown in the below screenshot.

 

Active Check

When the Active check screen is accessed in POS and the barcode on the Receipt of an Active Check is scanned, then the details of that Check will appear on the Order screen in POS.



Closed Check

  1. When the Closed check tab is accessed in POS and the barcode on the Receipt of a Closed Check is scanned, then the details of that Check will appear on the Order screen in POS.
  2. You can reopen the Check and reprint it by using the options available in the Closed tab.

 

Email Receipt Template

  1. Select the Email-Receipt option.
  2. Enter the Customer's Email Address.
  3. Click Send Receipt, and the Receipt will be sent to the entered Email Address.
