When network is available and Offline Mode toggle is disabled then offline payment are available. Do you want to process it? With Yes or No option.
If Yes, the loader will spin, and offline transactions will be processed.
If No, the pop-up will appear again after 15 minutes.
The popup message will only be displayed on the device selected from the dropdown list in the Back Office. Once the user selects the batch submission device, only that device will receive the message.
The Batch device selected in Application Settings will have the provision to do the above functionality.
Offline Mode Disabled
When the offline mode toggle is disabled, the network is available, and offline transaction are present, the footer pop up will appear.
If there is at least one offline transaction, the alert message 'You have x offline transactions in Batch. Make sure to authorize offline transactions in batch screen' message will appear (on all screens).
If there are no offline transactions, no pop up will be displayed.
This alert message will only appear on the POS device selected as the Batch Setting device in the Back Office.
The alert message will be displayed on all screens in POS, similar to the offline mode message.
If Offline mode is disabled and POS is connected to the internet, the alert must be shown.
offline count values will be updated in the POS every 15 minutes.
The alert message will be removed from POS once the checks have been processed.
The alert will be removed when offline mode toggle is enabled.
The error /invalid offline checks should also be added along with the valid offline transactions in the alert messages. (The counts in alert/ email/batch screen should be uniform).
Clock In When Offline Mode Is Enabled
When the offline mode toggle is enabled, a user can clock in, but the data is stored locally and does not immediately sync with the back office.
Payment Behavior Based on Network and Offline Mode Status
If the offline mode toggle is disabled, makes a sale, and selects gift card, House account, membership, or Give x payment, the 'Application is in Offline Mode' pop-up will display.
When the user disables the offline mode toggle, turns off the network, makes a sale, and selects gift card payment, the 'No Network Connectivity’ pop-up will be display.
Network Unavailable:
When the offline mode toggle is disabled, the network is turned off and a till is created, a 'No Internet Connection' pop up appears.
