Close Day is the last step before ending the Business Day.
Navigation: Log in to POS, then select Operations > Close Day
Select Date
Select a specific Date for generating the report.
This selected Date will appear in the generated report.
Only past or present Dates can be selected - future dates are not allowed.
Total Net Sale: Displays the total net sale amount.
Gross Sale: Shows the total amount of all sales before deductions, such as discounts or refunds
New Customers: Indicates the number of new customers counted during the period.
All Employees: Displays the number of employees.
Details
You can select multiple Employees/Users from the Sale Recap Summary screen. Depending on the selection, the Sale Summary Report will be displayed.
Employee Selection
A dropdown that enables the selection of a specific Employee to filter the Sales data displayed in the report.
Processing Options
Close All Cashiers
This button can be pressed once by a Role with the Permissions to send all cashiers Close Out reports to the Back Office.
If there is an Active Till
A pop-up with the message 'You have an Active Till. Do you want to close the Till?' appears.

- If Yes is selected, you will be taken to the Active Till screen under Till Management.
- If No, the pop-up message will close without any further action.
If there isn't an Active Till
The confirmation pop-up message 'Cashier out saved successfully' appears. This confirms that closing all cashiers has successfully completed.
If there is an Active Check
A pop-up with the message 'Cannot close the
shift, Store have [x] Active Check' will appear (where [x] is the
number of Active Checks).
If Cash is
selected, the active check will be paid with cash and closed.
If Void
is selected, the active check will be voided.
If Cancel
is selected, the pop-message will close without any further action.
Close The Day
After clicking the Close The Day option, the application will validate if there are any Active Checks, Open Tills, Offline Transactions, Offline status of iPads, or Untipped transactions on the current Business Date.
Print
Use this to print the Closing Report. Please refer to the Till Management KB Article, under Reports.
Auto Print Close Day Report
Back Office
Navigation: Log in to the BO for your Store, then select Settings > Application > General Settings
For the Auto Print Close Day Report toggle:
- If YES is selected, the system will automatically print the Receipt when Close Day is performed.
- If NO, the Receipt won't be printed.
POS
If YES was selected for the Auto Print toggle in BO, the system will trigger the printing of the Receipt automatically when Close Day is performed.
If NO, the Receipt will need to be printed manually (if needed).

Get Confirmation Before Close Day
To navigate to the Close Day screen:
- Select Operations > Till Management > Reports > Close Day
- Select Operations > Close Day
Manual Close Day
On the Close Day screen, select Close The Day at the upper-right.

A pop-up with the message 'Do you want to close the day' with Yes and No options appears.

Click Yes, and the Close the day Checklist screen appears.
If No is selected, the pop-up message will be closed.
Once the following items are highlighted in green, the Submit button will be enabled (available to click):
You have 0 active check(s)
You have 0 till open
You have 0 open cashier(s)
- Even if any (or all) of the others are highlighted in red, the Submit button will still be available.
- If No is selected, the pop-up message will be closed.
Automatic Close Day
During the Business Start Time, when logging into the app
A pop-up with the message 'Do you want to close the day' with Yes and No options appears.

If No is selected, you can continue to create the sale. But the business date will not be changed.
Click Yes, and the Close Day pop-up appears (manager access pop) where a Manager's 4-digit PIN must be provided.

Once the PIN is entered: click Continue to perform Close Day.
If the entered PIN is valid, you will be taken to the Close the Day screen.

If the given PIN is invalid: an alert message appears, and you won't be navigated to the Close the day screen.
