Scale Set up For Epson

In Boh:

Login to the back office

Settings>Store>Printers>Receipt Printer>+ Receipt Printer





Next Screen:

Enter Printer name>choose Epson TM-T88IV>enter the IP address for the Printer>Save




Update and Publish changes to the POS and Sync to Back Office.


Connecting the Printer to the Scale

On the Scale connect the DB9 male side of the cable to the Highlighted Port. Connect the port supply to the highlighted port.




Next Connect the scale cable to the Printer.

Below is the Device Tag for the Epson Tm-T88VI-iHUB model M349A you should be using.



Below is what the connection looks like on the Printer.

Connect the other side of the scale cable with the DB9 female side of the Cable to the highlighted port of the Printer




Setup of Epson / CAS Scale

·         Open up a browser

·         Enter the Ip of Epson Tm-88VI-iHUB printer you want to configure



Next enter epson in lower case as the user

·         Enter the serial number of the printer (see example Below) as the password




·         At this Screen Choose EpsonNet Config for TM-i

·         The Printer should be set at Baud rate: 9600 , Stop bit: 1 , Data bit 7 , Parity Even



·         At this Screen Choose Serial Device

·         Next serial the Serial Device to the Highlighted settings  

then press test 


it should display this: 


On the Left side type this W\r

After you hit send close that tab



After tab is closed on this screen press Apply & Restart




Let it continue until the screen goes away and you see you printer flashing while it is writing in the changes

When complete, it will come back to the Main Screen.


 



Next Login to Operations

Hardware Settings>Printer Setting> choose the Printer/Scale that is connected to the Terminal.




Next in Operations Choose Scale



When Connected, the screen below should show on the Display.
