Retail Back Office: Linga Admin - Language Settings



Navigation: Log into Admin, then select Settings > Languages

The Languages page displays the list of languages established under your Enterprise in the form of a table with the following columns:

  1. Name:  The name of the language.
  2. Actions: Edit (pencil) and Delete (trash can).


Create or Edit a Language
  1. Click + New Language  at the upper-right to create a new Language, or click the corresponding Edit (pencil) icon of a Language to update it. The New/Update Language pane appears.


  2. Name: (Mandatory) The name of the Language. There is no character restriction for this field and both letters and numbers can be entered.
  3. When ready, press Save or Update at the bottom-right. You are returned to the main Languages page where the confirmation appears at the upper-right. If a new Language was created, it will be added as a row in the table.


Delete a Language

  1. Identify the Language to delete, then under Actions click the Delete (trash can) icon.


  2. On the Delete pop-up that appears, select Delete to confirm deleting the Language.
    1. Select X Close or Cancel to return to the main Languages page without deleting the Language.

  3. You are returned to the Languages page, where the Language will be deleted and moved to Inactive status.
