POS: Urban Piper Integration




Urban Piper provides a seamless APIs for any POS/Restaurant to integrate all aggregators.


Enabling License and Syncing

  1. You must enable the Urban Piper and Web Order integrations.
    1. Note: The Web Order integration only needs to be enabled on just one station.

Modifier Settings

  1. If the Urban Piper license is enabled, the options Maximum Selectable and Minimum Selectable will be included with Modifier Group - where you can enter the values for those fields.
  2. You can hide the modifier group from the online order by enabling the Hide From Online toggle.

Urban Piper Action Settings

Navigation: Log into the BO for your Store, then select Settings > Integrations > Third Party Integrations > Urban Piper

On the Urban Piper Settings page:


Integration Action

Three toggles are available: Zomato, Swiggy, and Uber Eats.
  1. To make a Store visible in the appropriate food aggregators, enable it by setting it to YES.


  2. When ready click Publish Store at the upper-right.

  3. Upon successful sync, the message 'Store Synced Successfully' will appear.



To publish the Menu Items on the food aggregator ordering portal:
  1. Enable the Enable Menu Item toggle.
  2. Click Publish Menu Item.



Scenario

Consider a Menu Item is out of stock in an aggregator,
  1. Hide the Menu Item from the aggregator by enabling the toggle on the Menu Item creation screen.
    1. See the Products/Items Knowledge Article.

  2. Click the Menu Item Action button in the Urban Piper Settings screen to publish the changes made.



Store Action

During peak hours, if you wish to hide your Store from a selected aggregator, then Store Action settings need to be set.

Scenario

To hide the store from an aggregator
  1. Enable the aggregator's corresponding toggle under Store Action.

  2. Click the Store Action button for the changes to reflect.


Note:
  1. The Main Store Menu will serve as the Master Menu Store.
  2. You cannot maintain different Menus for the different Stores.
  3. Any changes in the Menus must be made from the Main Store and by menu pull configuration users must pull the Menus to the Sub-Stores for the Menu changes to reflect in the Sub-Stores.
  4. Urban Piper uses Federated Structure for menu implementation:
    1. Federated Structure - The Menu must be the same for all Stores on an Enterprise level and the Main Store Menu must be the master record.


POS

Once properly integrated, the Urban Piper option will appear in the Phone Order screen - same as Delivery. This applies to all tabs: New, Out, Complete, and Future. The name Urban Piper can be changed, as it is user-defined name (such as Urban Orders).

When the button is clicked:



  1. The Orders from the Online Orders will appear in the table - specifically for the Integration orders.
  2. The details of the Order and the contact info of its assigned Driver will populate each column of the table.
  3. The Driver Status column will have the possible following options as a value:
    1. Unassigned
    2. Assigned
    3. Reassigned
    4. At Store
    5. Out For Delivery
    6. Delivered


Order Cancellation

  1. When cancelling an Order, the 'Pending Cancellation' pop-up appears:


  1. Cancelled orders will appear blurred out.

  2. If an Order cannot be cancelled due to its Status: when attempting to cancel an Order, a notification pop-up appears with the message 'Order already in - [Status] - state'.
