Retail POS: Printer Hardware Settings

On the Hardware Settings page, select the Printer Settings tab. It displays the list of Printers configured in the Back Office - with their Status (Online or Offline), then the Name and IP Address. The currently connected device will be marked with a check mark. You can select only one Printer at a time.
- The Languages configured in the Back Office will appear as options for the Printer Language dropdown to the right. Select a Language, and the receipt will be printed in that selected Language.
USB Receipt Printer
If the USB Receipt Printer toggle is enabled: the system detects any printer connected to the POS using USB and it will be displayed here. Print commands are sent to it, allowing receipts to be printed.

If disabled: the POS will not send print commands to USB printers, allowing the use of other printer configurations - such as IP-based printers. If the USB printer is not available, the message 'USB Printer is not Available’ appears.

Enable a Bluetooth Printer
To select a Bluetooth printer: Bluetooth must be enabled in POS
Navigation: Log into POS then select Settings > Hardware Settings > Printer Settings
Select a USB/Bluetooth printer will be available.
For Bluetooth printers, the following options will be available in the dropdown by default: BLE, START BT, and STAR USB.
Select an option. The selected Printer will have a check mark appear adjacent to it.

Connect a Bluetooth Printer
This section allows you to choose the type of Printer connection to configure for printing Receipts, Kitchen orders and other Receipts.
Note: The Printer must be in Pairing mode.
Select an option (such as BLE [Bluetooth Low Energy]) from the dropdown.

Select an available Printer from the list.
Note: You may have to scroll down to see the printers).

The receipts will be generated.

Selecting a Printer in POS
Navigation: Log in POS then select POS Settings > Hardware Settings > Printer Settings
The Printer Settings page contains a list of Names and IP Addresses of the printer devices configured in BO - as well as their Status (Online/Offline).
Select a configured Printer device that’s Online. The selected device will be marked with a check mark ✓.
If a selected Printer is Offline, the message ‘Printer is not available’ appears.

If a Printer model is not selected in Printer Settings in POS, but an Order is placed and the Print option is selected: the ‘Select the Receipt Printer in Operation/Hardware Settings’ pop up message appears.
